Q: I just brought home a new puppy.
Is there such a thing as Pet Insurance?

Q: If I own my home but rent it out, do I need renter's insurance?
Won't my homeowners insurance cover everything?

No. You need a landlord policy covering the home.
Your tenant needs renters insurance.

 
Q: Is there such a thing as terrorism insurance?

Yes. The policy's minimum coverage must exceed $5 million- and must be agreed upon by the Secretary of State, the Attorney General, and the Secretary of Treasury. Rates and coverages vary by companies. Consult your agent for more information.
 
Q: If I get laid off from my job and can't afford to cover myself through COBRA, can I get short-term medical insurance?

Yes, Coverages can be purchased from 30 days to a period of 1 year.
 
Q: My teenager is getting her license.
Is there anything we can do to hold down the insurance costs?
 

Yes. Some companies continue to offer driver training as well as "good student" (honor roll) discounts.
